<description>Three places you can look for ideas to find a new job, new career or a new business to go into are:

1. The Phone Book. Look at the many companies listed there and at the many business categories. Get some ideas of businesses and careers that you may never have known about.

2. Bookstores. See the section about jobs and careers. One suggestion would be, &quot;250 Best-Paying Jobs,&quot; by Michael J. Farr.

3. Your library. Many entrepreneurs visited their local library and read business books for free when they were starting out. Libraries have all kinds of books full of ideas for new careers and/or new businesses you can go into.

Good luck :)

		<description>Hi Mark,

Your column is inspiring.

I read your last website and noticed the only happy people in the factory job you had were the delivery drivers and truck drivers who would stop by during the day.

They had some measure of freedom. I like working with people to a point, but I have to be outside most of the time, otherwise the lack of ventilation causes me to pass out.

You had mentioned the market needs pharmacy techs right now.
What else does the market need?

I like to spend my time outside (lake or ocean) to get fresh air, but also have a personable and energetic personality yet am more action-oriented than technical. In other words, sitting at a computer drives me nuts since I am more action and verbal. What jobs have medium to high pay currently? What do you recommend? I look forward to your response,
